MIF Universal Treads can be installed over existing stairs of virtually any material including concrete, asphalt, metal, wood, composite, marble and stone. Each tread comes pre-cut and supplied with a fixing kit. Quick and easy to install.
MIF Universal Tread installations will include an infinitely variable range of going nosing section, widths, landing panels and riser sections, and can be supplied to specific measurements. Maximum tread dimension, 3 meters by 1.5 meters.
MIF Universal Treads are machine folded and cut from durable 1050a high grade 2, 3 or 5mm thick aluminium section to the requires dimensions.
MIF Universal Treads are industrial grade powder coated, available in white, yellow, black as standard colours and 57 special optional colours from the BS4800 or RAL K7 colour charts.
MIF Universal Treads incorporate hard wearing Aluminium Oxide aggregate incorporated in solvent free, pigmented two-part epoxy resins, to form the wearing surface of the individual treads. This slip resistant surface is available in three profile references provides long lasting durability. These references are Ref 124 Fine, Ref 116 medium and Ref 112 coarse.
