MIF ACME Panels, have serviced the mass transit infrastructure market since 1864, when it was designed for the new surface of Tower Bridge, incorporating quality slip resistant products. Midland Industrial Flooring Ltd (MIF) have manufactured and or installed over 5000 structures with a range of composite panel systems as either an overlay slip resistant surface, a combined slip resistant load bearing structure deck or working platform.
The latest evolution of the MIF ACME Panel range incorporate more flexible resin technology, reducing micro cracking. The coating system thickness has also doubled, incorporating over twice the amount of carefully blended aggregates in the wearing course, resulting in significant extended life for large volume footfall. This allows us to offer a proven design life of over 25 years underpinned with an insurance backed warranty of up to 15 years (terms and conditions apply).
Other bridge solutions consist of our weather proofing and wearing courses which include MIF NT Grip, timber decking planks with a slip resistant coating applied in the factory, or a GRP solution.
Acme Panel are a range of bespoke design slip resistant decking systems. They are engineered to fit a wide range of applications – from simple structures around machinery to complex bridge and platform constructions, 6mm to 72mm thickness.
Solid pressure treated softwood or hardwood timber treads and planks impregnated and encapsulated with slip resistant blended aggregate.
Synthetic resin slurry with slip resistant blended aggregate. Available in Elastomeric epoxy, polyethylene, epoxy modified polyethylene and methyl methacrylate.
