Firstly, Midland Ind Flooring mechanically prepared the surface of the new concrete floor by captive dust free shot blasting & planetary grinding before the application of a three coat high-build epoxy coating was applied to the surface in a mid-grey colour with a bright contrasting telemagenta colour  to denote the drop zones and the edge of the pits.  A 0.9-1.4mm heavy duty Bauxite aggregate was broadcast to full saturation into the resin for a superior slip-resistant finish.
